Unique Tasting Experiences in Delhi

Tasting experiences help guests slow down, use all their senses, and truly understand what is in their cup or glass, instead of just drinking it.

At Khudrang in Old Delhi, curated tea and whisky/wine tastings turn every sip into a story about origin, craft, and culture.

Why guided tastings matter

  • Build a deeper palate: Guests learn to notice aroma, flavour layers, body, and finish, rather than just “strong” or “light”.
  • Connect with culture and history: Stories around regions, terroir, and traditions make every drink a window into India and the world.
  • Make smarter choices: Once people know what they enjoy, they can choose better teas and spirits at home, in cafés, or while travelling.

Indian Whisky / Wine Tasting – “Savour the Spirit of India”

Whisky and wine tastings help guests understand structure, aroma, and balance, so they can appreciate spirits beyond brand names or price tags. Khudrang’s Indian Whisky and Wine Tasting introduces 4–5 carefully chosen pours over a relaxed 1–2 hour session, focusing on flavour, responsible enjoyment, and storytelling.

In this guided experience, guests learn how to observe colour, swirl, nose, and taste each pour, discovering how grain, region, barrel type, and ageing shape every sip. The session moves from lighter, approachable styles to richer, more complex expressions, allowing participants to compare textures, finishes, and distinctive notes such as spice, vanilla, oak, and dried fruits.
